Jim was very communicative and helpful but was dishonest with us on a few occasions which lessened my trust in him. First, he told me he was a bank and not a mortgage broker, which was false. He also manipulated the closing costs to make us pay more at closing, which was stressful on us since we didn’t have the extra money to pay. He told us the earnest money and appraisal cost was included in the cash to close on multiple occasions when it turns out it was not. It may seem obvious but we are first time homebuyers and didn’t know these things, and instead of helping us understand them it seems like the tried to manipulate us. Lastly, he told me multiple times that the bank was ok with us taking title in a specific way when it turns out it was not. We never saw his face throughout the whole process, and it just seemed very impersonal, and combined with the white lies he seems like a dishonest person. Regardless, he did help us buy a house and for that we are grateful.
If your looking for somebody with some grit you found your girl! she was toe to toe witb with the whole process made sure to be attentive throughout the process. i I think I wore her out cause by the end of our closing she was on vacation. from start to finsih finish She was direct which is what you need and she knows her stuff 💪🏼

The attention that Patton took to me and my mortgage! Every Detail was taken care of before I even asked. I received texts or emails to let me know how things were progressing & if they needed any questions answered. Patton was with me at Closing and he knew everything about the whole process, including things the Lawyer would ask me. I was able to go through all of the signing prior to my closing using e-signature . That made the process easier & quicker.
